Scrumconnect Consulting once want to give back to society and do our part with hiring around 15 young people aged 16-24. We have signed up to the Kickstart scheme by www.gov.uk/kickstart and Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to help young people who are currently at risk of long-term unemployment. We will aim to help them get the experience they need and get them ready to work. #kickstartscheme

How are you finding working at Scrumconnect Ltd and its culture?
Scrumconnect Ltd has been a company that has given me such a warm welcome from the initial interview phase. They have provided me with the resources to excel as a Trainee Software Developer and further my skills in the IT field. The team's onboarding process has been thorough from device setups to coding configurations and standards laid out in various articles. The material provided includes well written tutorials with attached video demonstrations. When I run into issues whilst setting up the team quickly and efficiently deal with my issue. Overall this caring, hardworking and highly organised team are above industry standards in my opinion and I believe they provide the correct environment for trainees to progress within the company.
Any feedback on the work you are involved in?
Currently working on the MOJ project which I find very exciting as it can be a gateway to the software industry. Building real commercial software can really put into perspective the requirements clients put forward - this gives a deep insight into working with individuals to deliver software solutions.
Field that you may want to prosper in?
My primary goal is to develop my skills as a software developer. Other fields I would like to add to my resume include DevOps and infrastructure engineering. Scrumconnect Ltd have highlighted pathways for me that can help me attain my goals.
Future opportunities – what are you looking for from this opportunity?
A workplace which propels me forward in the world of software development and allows me to build better connections to develop my skills further. A well put together training environment which can provide me with the crutches to initially start out as a software developer. Slowly adding a level of difficulty within my work will allow me to deal with larger issues that present me an opportunity to grow.
