DWP and Scrumconnect win two awards at UK IT Awards

At yesterday night's #UKITawards we won two awards.

First was a special award for organisational exit from the pandemic for DWP's Pension Credit service. This service pays extra money to help with living costs if you're over State Pension age but on a low income. This was very helpful during Covid and now in the cost of living crisis it continues to pay billions of pounds to vulnerable citizens.

UKIT Award

We were also highly commended for Digital Transformation Project of the Year for our DWP on get your State Pension, positively impacting 18m+ UK citizens. Testament to the hard work from Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Scrumconnect Consulting, with teams doing awesome work.

Designed to celebrate excellence, the UK IT awards recognises those individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT over the previous 12 months. The awards are regarded as the benchmark for outstanding performance across the UK computer industry.

Naomi Bell, DWP Programme manager commented

Praveen Karadiguddi our CEO said: "We are over the moo  to have our industry-leading expertise in large-scale digital transformation projects recognised by our peers in the industry. Under challenging timescales and during the global pandemic, our distributed project team delivered one of the most complex UK government digital transformations to date – on time and to budget. It’s very rewarding to see our established partnership with DWP go from strength to strength and we'll continue to do further good work"
